Jimmy O'Rourke (footballer)

Jimmy O'Rourke (born 28 May 1946) is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a forward.

O'Rourke began his career with Hibernian, where he achieved considerable success. He was a key member of the Hibernian team of the early 1970s, known for their attacking style. He played in several major cup finals for Hibernian, including the 1972 Scottish Cup Final victory against Celtic. He also contributed significantly to Hibernian's league form during this period, helping them challenge for the Scottish League title.

After leaving Hibernian, O'Rourke played for St Johnstone and Motherwell, before moving into junior football with Armadale Thistle.

O'Rourke is remembered as a skillful and effective forward who made a significant contribution to Hibernian's success during his time at the club. He is considered a club legend by many Hibernian supporters.
