Mermaid Lagoon (Tokyo DisneySea)

Mermaid Lagoon is a themed port in Tokyo DisneySea at Tokyo Disney Resort in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. Primarily aimed at younger guests, it recreates the underwater world of Disney's animated film The Little Mermaid.

The area is split into two distinct sections: an "above-the-sea" area and an "under-the-sea" area. The "above-the-sea" area features brightly colored buildings and playful nautical theming designed to resemble a seaside village. It houses shops, restaurants, and the Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster.

The "under-the-sea" area is primarily indoors and designed to give guests the feeling of being beneath the ocean surface. It features soft lighting, coral-like structures, and bubbly sound effects. Attractions in this area include King Triton's Concert, Scuttle's Scooters, Jumpin' Jellyfish, Blowfish Balloon Race, and Ariel's Playground, an interactive play area. It also contains a restaurant and several shops selling Little Mermaid-themed merchandise.

Mermaid Lagoon provides a whimsical and immersive environment based on the popular animated film, offering a mix of gentle rides, live entertainment, and interactive experiences geared towards families with young children.
