Jessica González (politician)

Jessica González (born c. 1985) is a Democratic politician from the U.S. state of Texas. She represents District 104 in the Texas House of Representatives.

González was first elected to the Texas House in 2018. Her district covers portions of Dallas County. She serves on the House Committees on Judiciary & Civil Jurisprudence and Elections.

Prior to her election to the Texas House, González practiced law and was involved in community organizations. She is a graduate of Southern Methodist University (SMU) and the SMU Dedman School of Law.

González has been a vocal advocate for voting rights and criminal justice reform in the Texas legislature. She is a member of the Mexican American Legislative Caucus.
