Hari Kostov

Hari Kostov (Macedonian: Хари Костов, born November 13, 1959) is a Macedonian politician who served as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia from May 31, 2004 to November 18, 2004.

Kostov graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje. Before becoming Prime Minister, he served as the Minister of Internal Affairs from 2002 to 2004 in the cabinet of Branko Crvenkovski.

Kostov's premiership was marked by efforts to implement economic reforms and address issues related to inter-ethnic relations within Macedonia. He resigned from his position after a reported disagreement with his coalition partners. He cited a lack of support for key reforms as the primary reason for his departure.

Following his resignation, Kostov largely withdrew from active politics and pursued business interests.
