MLB 2K
MLB 2K was a series of Major League Baseball video games published by 2K Sports. It began with MLB 2K5 in 2005 and continued annually until MLB 2K13, the final installment. The series was known for its realistic graphics and simulation-style gameplay, often competing directly with Sony's MLB: The Show franchise. The games typically featured various modes including season, franchise, and online multiplayer options, allowing players to manage and play as their favorite MLB teams and players. After the 2013 edition, 2K Sports ceased development of the MLB 2K series, citing financial reasons.
