Jeff Lyon

Jeff Lyon (1942 - 1992) was an American journalist, author, and Pulitzer Prize winner. He was a science writer for the Chicago Tribune for many years, specializing in medical and genetic issues.

Lyon is best known for co-authoring the book Playing God in the Nursery, with Peter Gorner. This book, published in 1983, explored the ethical and medical dilemmas surrounding neonatal intensive care units and the treatment of severely ill newborns. Playing God in the Nursery won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction.
