Raymond Apple (rabbi)
Raymond Apple, AO RFD (1935-2024) was an Australian rabbi, scholar, and author. He served as the Senior Rabbi of the Great Synagogue of Sydney from 1972 to 2005, the longest tenure in the congregation's history.

Raymond Apple was born in Melbourne, Australia. He received his rabbinical ordination from Jews' College, London and served congregations in London before returning to Australia.

As Senior Rabbi of the Great Synagogue, Rabbi Apple played a significant role in Australian Jewish life.
