Jim Wood (American football)

Jim Wood (born February 24, 1957) is a former American football player who played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL).

Wood attended South Dakota State University, where he played college football. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 10th round of the 1979 NFL Draft. He played for the Steelers from 1979 to 1981. He then played for the Cincinnati Bengals in 1983. His NFL career spanned three seasons, encompassing participation in 34 games.
