James Burgess (American football, born 1994)

James Burgess is an American football linebacker who is currently a free agent. He played college football at the University of Louisville.

Early Life and High School

Burgess attended Homestead High School in Homestead, Florida. He was a highly-rated recruit.

College Career

Burgess played for the Louisville Cardinals from 2012 to 2015. He was a key contributor to the Cardinals' defense, playing multiple linebacker positions. He recorded significant tackles and other defensive stats during his collegiate career.

Professional Career

Burgess entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2016. He has spent time with multiple NFL teams, including:
