Jaan Uri
Jaan Uri (born October 26, 1940) is an Estonian former volleyball player who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1964 Summer Olympics.
Uri was a member of the Soviet team that won the gold medal in the 1964 Olympic volleyball tournament. He played five matches. He was known for his powerful spike and consistent play. After his active playing career, he worked as a coach and administrator in the sport of volleyball in Estonia. His contributions to Estonian volleyball have been significant.
