Jonathan Koch (rower)
Jonathan Koch (born October 29, 1985, in Rudolstadt, East Germany) is a German rower. He is primarily known for his success in lightweight rowing.
Koch has competed in several World Rowing Championships and Olympic Games. He notably won a gold medal in the lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2009 World Rowing Championships in Poznań, Poland, and a silver medal in the same event at the 2010 World Rowing Championships in Lake Karapiro, New Zealand.
He also represented Germany at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, finishing ninth in the lightweight men's four event. He continued to compete internationally after the 2012 Olympics.
Koch is recognized for his technical skill and endurance in rowing, contributing to Germany's success in lightweight rowing events.
