Irfan (band)

Irfan is a Bulgarian ethereal wave band formed in 2001. Their music blends traditional Bulgarian, Persian, and Balkan folk melodies with elements of ambient, darkwave, and neoclassical music. The band's name, Irfan, is derived from the Arabic word meaning "gnosis," "mystical knowledge," or "revelation."
