Ikuta Dam

The Ikuta Dam is a concrete gravity dam located in the Hyogo Prefecture of Japan. It spans the Ikuta River, a tributary of the Kako River. Primarily built for flood control and irrigation, the dam also contributes to water supply for the surrounding region. Construction of the Ikuta Dam was completed in 1974. The dam creates a reservoir known as Lake Ikuta, a popular spot for recreation, including fishing and boating. The Ikuta Dam is managed by the Hyogo Prefectural Government. The dam's dimensions include a height of 57.5 meters and a crest length of 173 meters.
