Ian Cameron (footballer, born 1966)

Ian Cameron (born 19 January 1966) is a Scottish former professional footballer. He played as a defender.

Cameron began his career with Dundee United, making his debut in the Scottish Premier Division. He was part of the Dundee United squad that reached the UEFA Cup Final in 1987, though he did not feature in the final itself. He spent several seasons with the club before moving to Airdrieonians.

At Airdrieonians, Cameron became a key member of the squad, and experienced success in the Scottish Cup. He featured in the Airdrieonians team that reached the Scottish Cup Final in 1992, losing to Rangers.

Following his time at Airdrieonians, Cameron played for Forfar Athletic. His career included spells with other clubs in the Scottish lower leagues, before retiring from professional football.
