Rosmalen
Rosmalen is a town located in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. Situated a few kilometers east of 's-Hertogenbosch, it was an independent municipality until 1996 when it was merged into the municipality of 's-Hertogenbosch. Rosmalen is known for its lively community, annual events, and its history dating back to Roman times.
History: Archeological finds indicate the area around Rosmalen was inhabited during Roman times. The name Rosmalen is believed to be derived from "Ross Male," meaning "horse meadow." Throughout the Middle Ages, Rosmalen was primarily an agricultural area.
