Rob Koll
Rob Koll is an American wrestling coach and former collegiate wrestler. He is currently the head wrestling coach at Stanford University, a position he assumed in 2023.
Prior to Stanford, Koll served as the head wrestling coach at Cornell University for 32 years, from 1991 to 2023. During his tenure at Cornell, he built a highly successful program, leading the Big Red to 20 Ivy League titles and 11 top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships. He coached multiple individual NCAA champions and All-Americans.
Koll himself was a successful wrestler, competing for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a two-time All-American and won an NCAA title in 1988 at 158 pounds. He is considered one of the most respected and accomplished figures in collegiate wrestling.
