Eulalia (abbess of Shaftesbury)

Eulalia (died c. 1016) was an English Benedictine abbess of Shaftesbury Abbey. She is notable for her leadership during a period of Viking raids and political instability in late Anglo-Saxon England.

Eulalia is believed to have become abbess of Shaftesbury sometime in the late 10th century or early 11th century. Sources regarding her abbacy are scarce, but she is primarily remembered for her role in protecting the relics of Saint Edward the Martyr, who was murdered in 978 and buried at Shaftesbury.
