INS Dega

INS Dega is an Indian naval air station located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It operates under the Eastern Naval Command of the Indian Navy.

INS Dega is a strategically important base for maritime air operations, providing support for naval aviation assets deployed in the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean Region. The air station handles a variety of fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters, contributing to maritime surveillance, anti-submarine warfare, search and rescue operations, and coastal defense.

The base has undergone significant modernization and expansion over the years to accommodate newer aircraft and enhance operational capabilities.
