Walker Smith (hurdler)

Walker Smith (born April 27, 1960) is a retired American track and field athlete who specialized in the 110-meter hurdles. He represented the United States at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, where he reached the semi-finals. Smith achieved significant success at the national level, winning the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 110m hurdles in 1984. He was also a consistent competitor on the international Grand Prix circuit throughout the 1980s. His personal best in the 110m hurdles is 13.15 seconds. Smith is considered one of the top American hurdlers of his era.
