Tancrède (sometimes spelled Tancrede) is a French masculine given name. It is derived from the Germanic elements thank- meaning "thought, gratitude" and rad meaning "counsel, advice, power." It is most famously associated with:
- Tancred, Prince of Galilee (c. 1075 – 1112): A Norman leader of the First Crusade and later Prince of Galilee and regent of Antioch. He was a significant figure in the crusader states of the Levant.
