I.E.M. (album)

I.E.M. is the debut studio album by the instrumental progressive rock/psychedelic rock band I.E.M. (Incredible Expanding Mindfuck), led by Steven Wilson, released in 1996 on Delerium Records. The album showcases a wide range of experimental sounds, blending influences from krautrock, psychedelia, and ambient music. Characterized by its improvisational feel and use of vintage synthesizers, I.E.M. demonstrates Wilson's exploration of non-mainstream musical territories, distinct from his better-known work with Porcupine Tree.
