Catalina Pérez (footballer, born 1989)
Catalina Pérez Jaramillo (born November 8, 1989) is a Colombian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Werder Bremen in the Frauen-Bundesliga and the Colombia women's national team.
Pérez started her career in the United States, playing college soccer for the University of Miami Hurricanes. She represented the Hurricanes from 2008 to 2011.
Pérez has been a member of the Colombia women's national team since 2010. She has represented Colombia at multiple major international tournaments, including the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2011, 2015, and 2023, as well as the Olympic Games in 2012 and 2016. She has served as the team's captain.
In 2024, she signed with Werder Bremen. Prior to that, she played for Real Betis and Deportivo Abanca in Spain, and for Fiorentina in Italy. She has also played professionally in Colombia.
