Plot:
The film follows Charlie Bronson (Dax Shepard), a former getaway driver living under witness protection in a small, rural town in California. He jeopardizes his identity and safety to drive his girlfriend Annie Bean (Kristen Bell) to Los Angeles so she can pursue a job opportunity. Their trip is complicated by his former criminal associates who are after him, a bumbling and jealous ex-boyfriend of Annie's named Gil (Michael Rosenbaum), and a federal marshal (Tom Arnold) assigned to protect him. The film involves car chases, humorous situations, and relationship dynamics as Charlie tries to balance his past with his desire for a normal life with Annie.
