Here I Am (Dionne Warwick album)
Here I Am is a studio album by American singer Dionne Warwick, released in 1965 on the Scepter Records label. It was Warwick's fifth studio album.
The album features songs primarily written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, the songwriting team heavily associated with Warwick's early success. Notable tracks include "Who Can I Turn To (When Nobody Needs Me)," "Here I Am," and "Look of Love." It also includes covers of other popular songs.
Here I Am generally follows the same sophisticated pop style that characterized Warwick's previous albums. It showcases her distinctive vocals and the orchestral arrangements common in Bacharach and David's productions. The album contributed to Warwick's continued rise as a prominent figure in popular music during the 1960s.
