The Bad Guy (TV series)

The Bad Guy is an Italian crime drama television series produced by Indigo Film and Amazon Studios. It premiered on Amazon Prime Video in December 2022.

The series follows Nino Scotellaro, a Sicilian prosecutor living in Messina who has dedicated his life to fighting the mafia. After being unfairly accused of being a mafia associate, Nino is forced to reinvent himself. He stages his own death and adopts a new identity, becoming a criminal himself in order to infiltrate the very organization he once sought to dismantle.

The series blends elements of crime drama, dark comedy, and satire, exploring themes of justice, corruption, identity, and the moral compromises one makes when fighting organized crime. It has been praised for its stylistic visuals, soundtrack, and performances.
