Shusha FK
Shusha FK (Azerbaijani: Şuşa Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku. It is named after the city of Shusha, located in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, though the club has been displaced since the First Nagorno-Karabakh War.
Historically, Shusha FK was founded in 1953. Due to the conflict, the club was dissolved in 1992. It was officially re-established in 2023 and currently competes in the Azerbaijani First Division, the second tier of Azerbaijani football. The club's home stadium is the Liv Bona Dea Arena in Baku.
Shusha FK aims to represent the city of Shusha and the displaced population from the region, with plans to eventually return to Shusha upon its redevelopment and stability. The club's re-establishment signifies a symbolic return and a commitment to the cultural heritage associated with the city.
The club's colours are typically blue and white. The current ownership and management are actively involved in community outreach programs.
