Heartbound (album)

Heartbound is the debut studio album by the Finnish gothic metal band Dark Sarah. It was released on May 3, 2015, by Inner Wound Recordings. The album tells the first part of a story centered around the character Sarah, exploring themes of love, loss, and betrayal through a blend of symphonic metal and theatrical elements.

The album features guest appearances from several prominent vocalists in the metal scene, including Manuela Kraller (ex-Xandria), Inga Scharf (Van Canto), and Lilli Scheele (ex-End of the World). Heartbound established Dark Sarah's signature sound and launched their career within the symphonic metal genre. It was followed by subsequent albums that continued the overarching narrative.
