The High Road to China (book)

The High Road to China is a 1977 adventure novel by Jon Cleary. It tells the story of Patrick O'Malley, an out-of-luck pilot, and Eve "Evie" Tozer, a socialite heiress, who are hired to find Eve's missing cousin in 1920s China. The novel is characterized by its fast-paced plot, exotic settings, and the romantic tension between the two main characters.
