Hans Kampffmeyer (1876–1932)

Hans Kampffmeyer (born January 4, 1876, in Cologne; died December 16, 1932, in Potsdam) was a German settlement and housing reformer, urban planner, and politician associated with the socialist movement.

Kampffmeyer studied economics and social sciences. He became involved in the Garden City movement and promoted the concept of decentralized, self-sufficient communities as a solution to urban problems.
