Hank Bauer (American football)

Hank Bauer (born December 26, 1947) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL).

Career

Bauer played college football at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly SLO). He was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 10th round (257th overall) of the 1969 NFL Draft.

He played five seasons in the NFL, all for the San Diego Chargers, from 1969 to 1973. He primarily played as a linebacker and was known for his special teams contributions.
