HMS Tamar
HMS Tamar was the name of several ships of the Royal Navy, named after the River Tamar, which forms most of the border between Devon and Cornwall, England. The ships include:

HMS Tamar (1796): A 16-gun sloop, formerly the French privateer Tamer. She was captured in 1796 and sold in 1805.

HMS Tamar (1814): A Cruizer-class brig-sloop of 18 guns, launched in 1814. She was broken up in 1835.
