Sunrise (Day6 album)
Sunrise is the first full-length album by South Korean rock band Day6. It was released on June 7, 2017, by JYP Entertainment. This album compiles the songs released from January to May 2017 as part of their Every Day6 project, where they released two new songs every month. In addition to the previously released songs, "Sunrise" features new tracks, including the title track "I Smile" and "Say Wow."
The album's title, "Sunrise," symbolizes a new beginning and the band's growth. It encapsulates the emotions of love, loss, and hope, reflective of the themes explored throughout the Every Day6 project.
"Sunrise" was commercially successful, peaking at number 4 on the Gaon Album Chart. The title track "I Smile" also performed well on the digital charts. The album cemented Day6's position as a rising rock band in South Korea, showcasing their musical versatility and songwriting abilities.
