H'Hen Niê

H'Hen Niê (born May 15, 1992) is a Vietnamese model, beauty queen, and social activist. She gained national and international recognition after winning Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 and subsequently placing in the Top 5 at Miss Universe 2018, held in Bangkok, Thailand. This was Vietnam's highest placement in the competition at the time.

H'Hen Niê is a member of the Rade ethnic minority group in Vietnam. She is known for challenging traditional beauty standards in Vietnam and promoting education for girls in her community. Her upbringing in a rural village and her decision to cut her hair short, considered unconventional in Vietnamese beauty pageants, garnered significant media attention.

Following her success in beauty pageants, H'Hen Niê has become a prominent advocate for women's empowerment, education, and sustainable development. She has participated in various humanitarian projects, including building schools and providing scholarships for underprivileged children, particularly in her home province of Đắk Lắk.
