Grand Mal (New York City band)

Grand Mal was an American alternative rock band formed in New York City in the 1990s. The group was fronted by singer and guitarist Bill Whitten, and also featured drummer Tony Lee and bassist Rick Lassiter. The band's sound was characterized by its blend of punk energy, hard rock riffs, and introspective lyrics.

Grand Mal released several albums throughout their career, including "Infrared" (1996) and "Malediction" (1998), both on the Primitive Records label. They garnered a following through extensive touring and their energetic live performances. While never achieving mainstream success, Grand Mal were a respected and influential band within the New York City music scene. They disbanded in the early 2000s.
