Trinitat Vella (Barcelona Metro)

Trinitat Vella is a station on the Barcelona Metro, served by lines L1 and L11. It is located in the Trinitat Vella neighborhood of the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.

The station on L1 is an above-ground station located on a viaduct. The L11 station is underground and serves as the northern terminus of the line. Passengers can interchange between the two lines at this station.

The L1 station was opened in 1983 as part of the extension of L1 from Torras i Bages. The L11 station opened in 2003.

The station's name, Trinitat Vella, refers to the old Trinity (Trinitat Vella in Catalan) which is a nearby historical site consisting of a former farmhouse and surrounding area. The etymology derives from the Holy Trinity.
