Comstock (crater)

Comstock is a lunar impact crater that lies on the far side of the Moon. It is located to the southwest of the larger crater Hilbert, and northeast of the crater Jean.

This crater is somewhat worn, with a rounded outer rim that has been slightly eroded. Several small craters lie along the rim, including a small crater attached to the northern outer rim. The inner walls are uneven, with some slumping. The interior floor is relatively level, and is marked only by a few tiny craterlets.
