Colombo (horse)
Colombo was a British Thoroughbred racehorse who won the 2000 Guineas Stakes and the St. James's Palace Stakes in 1934. He was owned by Sir Alec Black and trained by Jack Jarvis at Newmarket. Colombo was a bay colt sired by Mieuxce out of Briseis. While his career was relatively short, he was considered a leading three-year-old of his generation in England. He did not run in the Derby. After retiring from racing, Colombo stood as a stallion.
