Dusty Trails (album)
Dusty Trails is the debut studio album by the American alternative country band Dusty Trails, released in 2000 on Atlantic Records. The album features a blend of country, rock, and pop influences, showcasing the songwriting talents of the band's members, Josephine Wiggs (formerly of The Breeders) and Vivian Trimble (formerly of Luscious Jackson). While the album received generally positive reviews for its quirky instrumentation and harmonies, it did not achieve significant commercial success. The sound is characterized by its laid-back atmosphere, featuring instruments such as the vibraphone and Wurlitzer organ alongside more traditional country instrumentation. Some notable tracks include "Lost My Head," "Laid Back," and "Order Coffee." After the release of Dusty Trails, the band dissolved.
