Dukat (Star Trek)

Dukat was a complex and controversial character in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine television series. He served as a central antagonist, initially portrayed as a cunning and charismatic Cardassian officer.

Dukat's full name is Gul Skrain Dukat. He held various positions within the Cardassian military and government, most notably as the Prefect of Bajor during the Cardassian occupation. During this time, he oversaw the administration of the planet, often engaging in brutal and oppressive tactics while simultaneously attempting to portray himself as a benevolent ruler in the eyes of the Bajoran people.
