Kabo Air

Kabo Air was a privately owned Nigerian airline based in Kano. It operated scheduled and charter passenger and cargo flights. The airline was established in 1975 and commenced operations in February 1981. Its main base was Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Kabo Air primarily served domestic routes within Nigeria and international routes to countries in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, especially for Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages. Its fleet comprised Boeing 747 aircraft and other wide-body airliners at different periods.

The airline faced operational and financial difficulties throughout its history. Kabo Air ceased operations in the 2010s, though the precise date is often debated due to its intermittent service and lack of consistent official announcements. The airline was known for experiencing safety concerns and regulatory issues which contributed to its eventual demise.
