Marie Huch

Marie Huch (1847-1943) was a German author and translator, known primarily for her historical novels and biographies. She was born in Braunschweig, Germany. Huch's works often focused on strong female figures and explored themes of history, family, and social change. Her notable works include biographies of Luise von Preußen and Maria Theresia. She also translated works from English and French into German. While not as widely known as her sister, Ricarda Huch, Marie Huch contributed significantly to German literature in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
