John Commins (hurler)

John Commins is an Irish hurler who played primarily as a left corner-back for the Tipperary senior inter-county team.

Commins' club hurling was with Cappawhite. He won a Tipperary Senior Hurling Championship with the club in 1992.

At inter-county level, Commins was part of the Tipperary panel during the early to mid 1990s. He won an All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship medal in 1991, although he was not a regular starter. He also won a National Hurling League title in 1994. Commins retired from inter-county hurling in the late 1990s.
