Paniala

Paniala (also spelled Paniala) is a village and a community development block in the Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal, India. It is part of the Islampur subdivision.

The area is predominantly rural and agricultural, with rice cultivation being a major occupation. Infrastructure is relatively basic, with limited access to advanced services in some areas. The population consists mainly of agricultural laborers and small farmers.

Paniala is also the name of a Gram Panchayat within the block. Gram Panchayats are local self-governance institutions in India at the village or small town level. They play a role in implementing government schemes and managing local resources.
