Jana Preissová

Jana Preissová (born 7 February 1948) is a Czech actress. She is known for her extensive work in Czech film, television, and theatre. Preissová gained significant recognition for her roles in films such as Jak svět přichází o básníky (How the World Is Losing Poets) and its sequels, where she portrayed the character of "Maminka" (Mother), a role that became iconic in Czech cinema.
