Grace Episcopal Church (Middletown, New York)

Grace Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located in Middletown, Orange County, New York. The parish was formally organized in 1846, though Episcopalian services were held in the area prior to this date. The current church building, located at 11-15 Depot Street, is a Gothic Revival structure built of local grey sandstone. It was designed by noted architect Richard Upjohn and completed in 1866.

The church features a tall, square bell tower and pointed arch windows. Inside, the sanctuary boasts stained glass windows, many of which are memorials to prominent members of the congregation. The churchyard contains a mix of historic gravestones and monuments.

Grace Episcopal Church has played an important role in the religious and social life of Middletown since its founding. It continues to be an active congregation and a landmark within the city. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002. Key architectural features include its hammerbeam roof construction and elaborate interior woodwork.
