Gordon Green (footballer, born 1925)
Gordon Green (born 30 May 1925, date of death unknown) was an English professional footballer who played as a full-back.
Green began his career with Birmingham City, joining as an amateur in 1943. Due to the ongoing Second World War, his early appearances came in wartime competitions. He signed as a professional after the war. Green made his Football League debut for Birmingham City in the 1946-47 season. He played for the club until 1954, making over 100 league appearances.
After leaving Birmingham City, Green joined Shrewsbury Town. He played for Shrewsbury for a single season before moving on to Kidderminster Harriers, where he finished his playing career.
