Fighting Gravity (band)

Fighting Gravity was an American rock band from Columbus, Ohio. They were formed in 2005 while the members were students at The Ohio State University. The band gained national recognition after competing on the reality television show The Sing-Off on NBC in 2009, where they finished in second place.

Their repertoire included a variety of genres, from pop and rock to R&B and hip-hop. Following The Sing-Off, the band toured extensively and released original music. They released their debut album, "Is Anybody Out There?" in 2010.

While the band is no longer actively performing as a full unit, individual members continue to pursue musical endeavors. Fighting Gravity's contribution to the contemporary a cappella scene remains significant due to their innovative arrangements and national television exposure.
