Ghadi (film)

Ghadi is a 2013 Lebanese family comedy-drama film directed by Amin Dora. The film tells the story of Leba, a music teacher in a small Lebanese coastal town, who creates a fictional world for his disabled son, Ghadi, to protect him from the intolerance of the community. Ghadi is perceived as "different" by the townspeople due to his disability and noisy outbursts, and Leba strives to integrate him into their society. The film explores themes of acceptance, tolerance, and the power of imagination. It premiered at the Busan International Film Festival and was selected as the Lebanese entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards.
