German Titov (ice hockey)
German Titov (born August 24, 1965) is a Russian former professional ice hockey player and coach. He played primarily in the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Swedish Elitserien.
Titov began his professional career in the Soviet Union with Khimik Voskresensk before moving to North America in 1993 to join the Calgary Flames. He played five seasons with the Flames, becoming a key offensive contributor. He was later traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1998, and subsequently played for the Edmonton Oilers and the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.
Following his NHL career, Titov played in Sweden for Södertälje SK before retiring as a player.
After his playing career, Titov transitioned into coaching. He held various coaching positions in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), including head coach of Metallurg Novokuznetsk, Avangard Omsk, and Traktor Chelyabinsk. He has also served as an assistant coach.
