Yuna (singer)

Yuna, full name Yunalis Mat Zara'ai, is a Malaysian singer-songwriter. She is known for her indie-pop and alternative R&B sound, often blending Western and Malaysian musical elements.

Born in Alor Setar, Kedah, Malaysia, Yuna began writing songs at the age of 14 and started performing acoustically soon after. She gained online popularity through MySpace in the mid-2000s, becoming one of Malaysia's pioneering online artists.

Yuna released her self-titled EP in 2008, followed by her debut Malaysian album, "Decorate," in 2010. Her international debut album, "Yuna," was released in 2012. She has since released several other albums including "Nocturnal" (2013), "Chapters" (2016), and "Rouge" (2019).

Yuna has collaborated with numerous well-known artists, including Pharrell Williams, Usher, and Tyler, the Creator. Her music often explores themes of love, identity, and cultural heritage.
